Update- 18 Days and Counting!

well, I have 18 more days till I hit the last phase of this diet. I thought I would give a few updates for those who had questions on it. A few misconceptions that I have dealt with are:

1. You CAN use makeup, just not foundation. You can use powders and pretty much anything that doesn't contain oil (thank goodness!)

2. You CAN use conditioner but it has to be the "Jason" brand from sprouts (Aloe Vera shampoo and conditioner) It's not my favorite brand but it's better than nothing at all!

3. You are not supposed to use lotions but if you are dying (which I was) than you can use a little baby lotion on your face.

4. You ARE hungry the first week and you have LOTS of cravings!!!!!

This is one of the hardest things I have done in my life and it takes a lot of self control (which I don't have when it comes to food!) I did cheat once by eating a bite of a cookie...besides that though I've stayed on somehow! I am not starving anymore and I get full from my small meals which is good. I am also loosing about half a pound a day on average. I worked out yesterday and that jumped it up to a pound. It's hard but it's not impossible. I started at around 143 pounds (Blah), gained about 3pounds on my two days of binging, and am overall now down to 136 pounds. Not bad for a week!My husband was loosing about 1-2 pounds a day...I can actually see the difference in him now. I can't see much change yet but I am also starting to work out. All I know is I could really use a night at Olive Garden with some delicious noodles of some sort! Some of the fattiest foods...but so delish!!!! For now I must forget my cravings and get back to fruit and veggies....:(

try working at Olive Garden. it doesn't help at all.
My friend is also doing that same diet and lost 11 pounds the first week. I think you are all crazy for having that much self control. Maybe I will join you soon though.
