My Dad

For those of you who don't know, my dad passed away this past Wednesday. This past week has been one of the hardest of my life. The only way I can describe my dad is to say he was a happy man. He has dedicated the last years of his life giving service and being an example to those around him. I loved my dad with every ounce of my body and am now having a hard time imagining life without him. He made our family complete. The one thing I can say I have learned from my dad without a doubt is that the savior is there to help carry our burdens. The atonement is real and that the most important thing in life is to stay united with our family. Our family has had many trials in the past few years and my dad is now helping from the other side. No matter how much pain my dad was in he never complained. He was always there for me and my three little sisters. What he loved the most was to give us a fathers blessing. I am so grateful for every moment I have had with him and most of all feel lucky to have had him as my dad. He took care of me when I was sick and comforted me when I needed him most. He brought so much joy with his goofy jokes and his huge smile that would brighten the room. He has touched so many people's lives. We have had such an outpour of love from so many people this past week. Thank you so much for all of you who have been so supportive in my family's time of need. I have never seen so many people willing to give service. His funeral will be this Tuesday morning in Mesa. Thank you again for all of your love and support.
